Top 5 Film & Television Apps on iOS in Qatar Q4 2021

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top Film & Television apps on iOS in Qatar demonstrated diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Shahid - ﺷﺎﻫﺪ from MBC Group saw a relatively fluctuating performance in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $17.5K in the first week of November. Weekly downloads for the app started at around 726 in late September and concluded the quarter at 669. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 7.1K to 6.4K throughout the quarter.

Netflix experienced notable peaks and troughs in weekly revenue, reaching a high of about $5.6K at the end of November. The app's weekly downloads were fairly stable, with the highest being 2.1K in the week of December 20. Weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter with approximately 54.8K users.

OSN+ from Anghami showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $3.7K in the final week of December. Downloads saw an upward trend, culminating at 676 in the last week of the quarter. Weekly active users also increased, from 4.1K at the start to about 4.4K by the end of December.

Amazon Prime Video maintained a consistent performance in weekly revenue, with a peak of approximately $2.3K in the last week of September. Downloads were relatively stable, with a notable increase to 474 in the first week of November. Weekly active users saw minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at around 2.3K.

STARZ ON from Playco Entertainment FZ LLC had a significant peak in weekly revenue, reaching about $2.9K in mid-October. Weekly downloads showed a peak of 638 in the same period. Active users saw a rise in mid-October to 2.7K but declined to around 1.5K by the end of the quarter.
